Classification and documentation of wild edibles and medicinals within the United States with special attention to Four Corners region of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and northwestern New Mexico. Mainly in the New Mexico northwestern region. This region is home to many Native American reservations such as the Zuni Navajo and Hopi. These Native peoples utilized many native plant species for food and medicine.

In order to be sure we are spotting truly useful/edible plants be sure to upload only clear photos. If possible, upload separate photos of the flower-head (if any), berries/fruit (if any), leaves (shape) and stem of the plant. For example, if you are uploading a tree, take picture of entire tree, trunk, bark, and leaf shape as well as any fruiting bodies such as flowers, buds, nuts or cones separately.

Please provide your own detailed description of plant and habitat.
