Description:

Bright orange fungi growing in a damp place on the edge of a track through mountainous rainforest.

Habitat:

Seen in mountain terrane at Rancho Naturalista
Primary pre-montane Caribbean slope rainforest at 2970ft (900m)

I suppose since 2 is growing from the ground I suppose 1 & 3 are also likely to be poking out from the ground behind the. In this case I think Clavulinopsis fusiformis is likely.
gully.molly, I'm not sure, it's hard to remember! Just going from the photos, it looks like they are coming from the green moss on the tree in Photos 1&3, but from the ground in photo 2. So I don't know...
Are they growing from the log or the ground?
