Description:
Unidentified scale-shaped organism attached to the top surface of, but not penetrating (see third photo), a leaf. Slightly larger than my thumbnail.
Habitat:
Observed on the underside of a taro leaf (Xanthosoma sagittifolium) in a large semi-urban yard & garden, near to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.
