This fungus just sprouted out of the ground within a few hours .

I don't know the species, so I am not the person to ask. The best policy is if you are not 100% sure, don't risk it.
Can this particular type of Equisetum be used in a tea or is this type Toxic?
Though it looks like one when it first emerges, this isn't a fungus, it's actually a plant.
