Description:
This is a mushroom that was growing side ways because a brick was on top of it.It probably formed because of the wet mud and clay under the brick also with lots of rain in the past couple days.It had a cap of 7 mm. long.One of them had two caps but started to grow like bunny ears.
Habitat:
Semi-urban, Fort Worth, Texas.
Notes:
This mushroom is a species of mushroom in the family Cortinariaceae. Commonly known the Spectacular Rustgill, this large orange mushroom are typically found growing on tree stumps, logs, or tree bases. Some types of subspecies of this mushroom contain the neurotoxic oligoisoprenoid gymnopilin.
