Field Notes

Description:

Appreciate ID on this anemone. Translucent with long tapered tentacles. Diameter of the base around 15 cm. Speckled much like the sand it was on. Beautiful pattern on the center where the mouth is (Pic. 2)

Habitat:

Sandy bottom

Notes:

Night dive at a depth of 4.5 m. Anilao Pier, Batangas, Philippines
