Monarch Butterfly

These Butterflies are in my understanding the very symbol of wild migration. These little insects may look weak and fragile but they risk limb and life to survive by migrating to Mexico every fall. They are a pure orange and black butterfly but lookalikes can be mistaken for the Monarch like the Red Admiral or the Queen or Viceroy. The Monarch Butterfly about five inches from wing to wing.
