Power line near flooded park

Notes:

This was a long-wanted life bird for me! I was thrilled to see it at my favorite patch too. This large falcon was watching a few Mallards swimming in our flooded park. Peregrines aren't called Duck Hawks for nothing. However, all of the Mallards did survive the day. Lucky ducks!

this is one of my favorite birds. for a while I had some nesting close to my house it was really cool. That was before I knew about project Noah.
Thanks to both of you! I crack up thinking that it was a lifer considering how common they are where I live. I guess I just don't bird the right areas often enough.
