Field Notes

Description:

There was no fruit to be found. The leaves are lancolate being 13cm long at the longest point And 4cm wide at the widest point. It has entire margins and a fine netted pinnate. The leaves are placed sub-opposite. And they feel smooth and leathery while being a little waxy. The bark is really sandy and seems to be pretty thin. It is a prop and stilt root.

Habitat:

Near the entrance of the singapore american school rainforest near a shady area. It was the biggest out of trees standing next to it.

Notes:

There was a strangler root starting to climb up from the base of the root.
