Field Notes

Description:

This red tent spider was found inside of its web about 3 feet off the ground. It was about 1/2 inch long, and 1/3 of an inch wide. It was quite colourful and had shades of red, black, and orange.

Habitat:

This red tent spider was found in low to ground in the secondary rainforest of Singapore American School. It was found on top of its web above a small plant.

Notes:

This type of spider comes in many different colours such as black.
