Field Notes

Description:

Small brown wren with patterned back and tail. Tail is short and maybe seen in uprigh position when it senses danger. Bird has a very loud chatter and most times you can hear them more then see them as they are shy birds popping out to view the danger or call for a mate.

Habitat:

marshes with tall reeds and grasses.
