Field Notes

Description:

Head to tail approx 20cms. Whilst searching for insects on the ground it wagged its tail sideways. In flight they are very skilful. It followed me around at a safe distance, so it could scoop up any insects that I disturbed along the way.

Habitat:

Open grassland on James Cook University, Cairns campus
