Field Notes

Description:

The juvies of this species have a triangle shape on the head (can be seen vaguely in the second picture, which is out-of-focus).

Habitat:

Next to a lake. There was a lot of dead vegetation (it is mid-March) around the area for it to hide in. It just hopped across my path.

Notes:

I don't think I've ever seen adults of this species; I've seen the juveniles before, but never adults.
