Description:
Hemiptera; Miridae; Orthotylinae; Halticini; Ectmetopterus sp. "Halticini is a tribe of plant bugs in the family Miridae" Wikipedia.
Habitat:
These Plant Beetles were spotted on Eggplant (Solanum melongena) growing in big plant pots in our front garden. Our vegetable plot is unworkable at the height of the rainy season as it is often flooded.
