Description:

•They are the fourth most common amphibians in Europe.
•They eat woodlice, slugs, beetles, caterpillars, flies, earthworms and even small mice.
•They have a noxious substance, bufotoxin, which is used to deter potential predators.

Habitat:

Forested areas with coniferous, deciduous and mixed woodland, especially wet locations, they also inhabit open countryside, fields, copses, parks, gardens and dry areas
-I saw these toads in Hildesheim(Germany)
