Description:

The Dirce Beauty, also known as the Mosaic or Zebra Mosaic, (Colobura dirce) is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Central America and northern South America.

The length of the fore-wings is about 33 mm.

Notes:

The larvae feed on Cecropia species.
