Field Notes

Description:

Female or juvenile

Habitat:

Near marsh and woodland, in areas where Jewelweed grows profusely

Notes:

Having sat in the backlot for days on end, this Hummingbird accepted me and my camera and would allow me to get within a few feet of her before flying away. She was very territorial and would chase any and all other Hummingbirds away
