This fly resembles a mosquito, but I don't think that it actually is one. The eyes and antennae look more fly-like. Also, the very long "hairy" legs and downward pointing abdomen are uncharacteristic of a mosquito. Some mosquitoes, such as Psorophora sp., do have long "hairy" legs though....But, I think this is a fly - possibly an Empid (Dance Fly), which are commonly mistaken for mosquitoes because of their overall body structure and long proboscis.
