Description:

Lymantria dispar dispar, commonly known as the gypsy moth, European gypsy moth, or North American gypsy moth, is a moth in the family Erebidae that is of Eurasian origin. The gypsy moth, is indigenous to Europe, and was introduced in North America and it has a range which covers Europe, Africa, and North America.
It was spotted just outside my house, on a red rose flowering climbing plant, Volos city, Greece.
