Gorgeous capture, LennyWorthington!! Our Belted Kingfishers seem drab by comparison. :-)
This Kingfisher also hunts insects in the forest,Princess. This race has only a small white chest patch. Races occur in many different countries. This one "gularis"is the Cuban race. I will post some others.
