Pholcidae is the spider genre, i mean the general kind of spider and is not enough. I am a member of an italian Forum named Aracnofilia, i will post the picture just to hear their opinions with your consent, i'm very curious to see if i am wrong. Which was the "Micro-habitat" where the spider Was? (i mean a basement, a living room, a Backyard). Sunny or shady? it would be useful... Thanks
Both the suggestions belong to "Pholcidea"
Andrea ,I am in a dilemma. Bug Eric is an expert and I also respect your opinion. The question is to change or not to change!!
You are welcome! change the Spider mentioned by me in the title above the page, i don't think i could, so just for completeness. :)
That is not an Holocnemus pluchei. There is no marbled pattern, is simply like the one of the Pholcus Sp. and the body is way too long. I am from italy The region where Holocnemus pluchei come from, i can ensure you this is not one of them! Thanks.
