Project Noah Fun Fact: The mugger crocodile is one of three crocodilian species to inhabit India. Muggers have the broadest snout of the crocodiles giving it a slight resemblance to the alligators. The mugger crocodile can be found in the countries of Pakistan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, the southern tip of Iran. It once occurred in Bangladesh, but is believed to now be extinct there. In case you were wondering, the other 2 species found in India, are the saltwater crocodile and the gharial.
