Xylotrupes gideon - male

Sometimes called the two horned rhino, yours is a male. Here they are fighting. http://www.nature-photogallery.eu/foto/1160-xylotrupes-gideon-beckeri/?puvod=244 This one has longer horn than usual and I am not certain of the subspecies. I would cautiously guess that you have X. G. sumatrensis which is more brown in color and longer in the horns. Xylotrupes Gideon Sumatrensis http://www.myspace.com/vincentkapwome/photos/15042656
