Field Notes

Description:

Found in a field (open pasture) early last fall. This mushroom stood atleast 1ft off the ground it seemed. I could clearly see it from the road. It as as big as a childs cranium. :-) So, I fried it in butter when I got home and IT DOES TASTE LIKE SCRAMBLED EGGS! Not bad!

Habitat:

Dry field, cattle not present but had been recently. Farmer's back yard@
