Field Notes

Description:

Broad green leaves which are divided in three pointed lobes. It has a blueish purple flower which opens up in the morning widely.

Habitat:

tropical and subtropical areas such as California.
Grows well in full sun, on trellises and up trees and on fences.

Notes:

It is poisonous, some people are allergic when touching the plant, which the sap and leaves have an irritant covering it.

Bees and hummingbirds are attracted to it
