Habitat:
Clearings in edges of thickets, groves, and forests; also watercourses and moist, open woods.
Notes:
Seen at the Tom Dorman Nature Preserve in Garrad County, Kentucky. This preserve is 800+ acres and butts up to the Kentucky River Palasaides, a truly unique environment with the oldest exposed rocks in the state. Wild flowers abound and many are seen no where else in Kentucky.
