Spotted in front of our place. Pretty sure not from the Dumaguete, Philippines.

Hi S Frazier not sure about it. But this one was once a pet of somebody nearby they had a pair and was able to escape and hence they grew in number.
It looks somewhat like Sundasciurus steerii but I don't think that occurs on Guimaras island...
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean by "...not from the Philippines". There are several squirrels of the genus Sundasciurus there. Many of these are restricted to certain islands...but you said "Philippines". Do you mean it's not one of the known Philippine species?
