Description:

I was told this was identified based on these factors: cepalodia appear to be raised and they can easily be scraped away, and the broad veins on the underside change abruptly from pale to dark.

Habitat:

Near the top of Pillar mountain among many low-growing plants such as mosses, crowberries, and lingonberries
