Probably Eastern Subterranean Termites. See here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/71259
Most likely they are termites; part of the colony grows wings & fly & find mates & start new colonies, losing their wings very quickly & easily. There are more than one kind of termites: one kind on the west coast looks like this: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7401088
