Description:

this form of polypore is differentiated from others by its pale stalk. It is solitary or gregarious,as you can see it has a central stalk. a round cap, and a flatish surface , it measures 2–8 cm in diameter.

Habitat:

seen in the woodland section of low common, owned by the yorkshire wildlife trust.
