Purple-petaled flower. Single flower per stalk. About 6 inches tall and only a few petals per flower (3-4)

Habitat:

Sandy soil of central Kansas. Mushroom Rock State Park. Wet spring in full sun.

Notes:

Found this along a trail at Mushroom Rock State Park.
