MAYPOP may 28.2013 Maypop is unusal flower is widely distributed in the southeast especially from florida to texas. The plants name is passionflower or passvine because the floralparts the name may pop comes from the hollow fruit. One of the frist spanish coloist went to florda 500 years age he saw this flower may pop. The coloist called florida florida becase it had so meny flowers.
