Habitat:

Deciduous habitat under a rotting log.

Notes:

I used to only find garter snakes on my outings, but the DeKay's have become a much more frequent find in the past couple of years. I find 4 DeKay's to every one garter snake now. This cute little guys was only about 5 inches long.
