Field Notes

Description:

Growing from a well rotted eucalyptus log these coral fungi clumps were a soft pink-grey, and had very close 'head' form. The diameter of each 'pipe' was about 4mm. The stacks were about 200mm tall. Tips were mostly flat but some had one of two sharper points.

Habitat:

In a tall eucalyptus rain forest in a national park.

Notes:

Yet to check for species. Ramaria species.... ?
