Description:
Male Soldier Fly with a metallic green thorax. The abdomen is dark and narrowed in the first half to look wasp-like. The legs are a uniform orange in color. 8 mm in length. Family Stratiomyidae.
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
