Description:

Dragonfly with black stripes on winds and blue abdomen.

Habitat:

Was spotted in backyard near vegetable garden.

Notes:

There were three of these flying around, but this was the only one with a blue abdomen.

So the other ones that looked the same but had black abdomens were even younger ones?
This is an immature male Whitetail. As the males mature they develop a powder-blue abdomen and the abdominal stripes become indistinct.
