Reticulated Glass Frog

Fun fact! After mating, female reticulated glass frogs lay a jelly mass containing eggs on the underside of a leaf above water. Once she has laid her eggs, she abandons them to the care of her mate and has no further role in brooding her offspring. The male frogs however are excellent parents, guarding their eggs day and night and fighting off would-be predators with kung-fu style kicks! !
