This is another dogwood feeder, but much more colorful than the Dogwood Calligrapha - Calligrapha philadelphica.

Awesome spotting. One of my favorite beetles. All of my beetles so far this year have been plain black.

I'll do my best. I'm about to get a macro converter for my fixed lens bridge camera so I might rival you in the macros ;-)

Kd, we have about 2 or 3 dozen different species of Calligrapha around here. It isn't hard finding members of this genus, but I've only ever found 2 of this colorful species.
Another one! So beautiful! The season must be very good for them where you are.
