Field Notes

Description:

A tiny wasp of about 2 mm in length. Under natural light, the wings were iridescent (3rd picture). The female wasp was photographed the following night (4th picture). The last picture, also a male was take on 15 July 2015 in the same place. Family Braconidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
