Field Notes

Description:

Similar in appearance to other cottontails, the Swamp Rabbit is brown all over with a stubby white tail. This is the largest member of the Genus.

Habitat:

Found near a swamp, trying to hide at the base of a bush. I have no idea how I saw him, but he never took his eye off me and never moved.
