Field Notes

Description:

Small tit (about 11 to 12 cm in length), less colourful than some of its' cousins. Mainly grey and cream-white, with boldly patterned head: black with off-white cheeks and white nape.

Habitat:

Seen on edges of mediterranean type of forest, on steep slopes of mountains of Atlas mountain range and close to human habitations. These villages are located in protected area of NP J'bel Toubkal (or on borders of this protected area - I did not fully catch the story of the National Park...).
