Description:

Approx 1.5 cm wide. I found this in my bathroom, but when I commented my husband said he flicked it out of his hair earlier! I wasnt sure if it was a spider or a crab at first. it moved like a spider and when my husband picked it up it span a web so it is a spider I think, I have just never seen anything remotely like this!

To my knowledge Gasteracantha cancriformis is not found in Indonesia. There are obviously some sightings in Australia and on the Philippines, but I am sceptic if this reports are really correctly ID. Unfortunately there are many species found in Asia and not many info about them. Personally I would go with Gasteracantha sp. for this one.
