Hi, this species could either be Mycena pseudocorticola (http://www.flickr.com/photos/21665478@N08/4207946743/) or Mycena interrupta (http://steveaxford.smugmug.com/Fungi-the-recyclers/Mycena/i-vfGcJrz). I think, based on your description and photos, it's the first one. Great catch! Cheers!
