It's a mix of a few breeds, I'd guess. Blue Swedish certainly, maybe Pekin or Ancona as well. The other bird looks to be part Buff Duck. All are different breeds, but still the same species (like poodle or chihuahua are breeds of dog, but still the same species). You can think of these types of ducks like the poodles and chihuahuas of ducks.
Swedish Mallard? Weird. Do they live and breed in the U.S.?
Looks like another name for Hybrid domestic duck
I've seen the same thing in Fontana, Wisconsin! I wonder what it is...
