I was part of the National Geographic Grosvenor Teacher Fellow Program. We were on a Linblad Expedition on a boat in Nunavut, Canada. We saw a total of 61 polar bears. These were spotted in a small patch of sea ice near Hoare Bay. We saw many more up near Beechey Island.
