Description:

The Flat-tailed Night Crawler (Earthworm) is long, segmented, soft-bodies animal (invertebrates), with no legs. In the opinion of Charles Darwin, the earthworm may have played a more important role on this planet than any other animal. Ubiquitous in moist soil, they aerate it with their burrows and fertilize it with their castings
