Clusters of hatched Banded dye-murex eggs, spotted washed up in the beach of Karnagio, Kato Lehonia, Pagasitikos gulf, Greece.
Banded dye-murex egg clusters are a very frequent find in the beaches around Pagasitikos gulf, and usually people falsely believe that they are sponges or sea algae. Usually more than one female sprawn their egg capsules together, forming large clusters of viable and nursing eggs, wich hatch about 18- 20 days after they were laid...
