Description:

Alpine sun-rose is an evergreen, well-branched, dwarf shrub, reaches heights of 3 to 15 cm. Upper part of the plant is covered with simple hairs. The stalked or sessile leaves are 5-15 mm long and 2-5 mm wide. The leaf blade ovate to narrow-lanceolate, flat edge, narrowed green and hairy or bald and harrow the ground on both sides.
Six to seven, hermaphroditic yellow flowers with lot of stamens are in an inflorescence. The flower buds are ovate. The petals are 7-10 mm long.
Flowering period is from May to August.
