Hovering insect - first thought was hoverfly, but looking at the photo, it has antennae and enlarged rear legs. Vivid metallic green

All I know it that it hovered like a hover fly and the photo hardly does the bright green color justice!
Hard to tell from this shot. I think it might be an Orchid Bee, Euglossini. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euglossini
