Field Notes

Description:

The ladybug has six jointed legs, like all insects. Their antennae are used for touch, smell, and touch.

Habitat:

Ladybugs can be found in a large variety of places such as forests, fields, grasslands, gardens, or even a house.

Notes:

Here are some facts I found while researching on Ladybugs:
-A ladybug beats its wings 85 times a second when it flies.
-Ladybugs wont fly if the temperature is below 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
-The color of the spots fade when the ladybugs age.
-Birds are the major predator of the ladybug and they will play dead when threaten.
